dock or tender in La Paz

I know that in Cabo it is tender and can also be tender in Puerto Vallarta depending in PV how many ships are at the port. We have never sailed to La Paz and have no clue about the port.

La Paz is not a tender port. The ship docked at the port, then they have two buses charter to take the cruise passengers to either downtown or the beach. You have a choice. Each direction take about 30 minutes bus ride.

 

Of all the port we have been to in Mexico...I really really like La Paz. Some beach area in La Paz put Carribbean to shame. The water is beautiful turquoise and so crystal clean and the sand is so white.

 

It was nice to walk around downtown La Paz too.

We are looking forward to visiting La Paz in Feb. 2011 since we have been to most of the other ports in the Mexican Riviera. The pictures of the beaches are great. Were the shuttle buses provided by CCL free?
