14 Days In Alaska on the Amsterdam

I just booked the 14 Day Alaskan Adventurer on Holland America for September 12. This is not my first Alaskan cruise, but it will be the longest -- which is why I booked it. But I'd love to hear from anyone else who has taken this particular cruise. Anything specific to do or watch for? Thanks. Pat

There may be a roll call for your cruise, but the date you posted does not correspond to one of the 14-day cruises.

We did a 14 day Alaskan cruise on the Tahitian Princess in 2008 and are doing another one this August on the Royal Princess. We really enjoyed the first cruise as it gave us a chance to see some of the less visited Alaskan ports while still seeing the highlights including Glacier Bay. Leaving and returning to the same port, Vancouver on the 1st cruise and Seattle on the one this year is a nice advantage.

 

We looked at the 14 day cruise from HAL but my wife really liked the Tahitian and when we had a chance to go a sister ship the Royal that made our decision for us.
