Embarkation Day Room Access

We are cruising on the Glory from NYC on June 6. As it appears that no one is debarking the Glory that day, will we have immediate access to our stateroom or will there still be the usual delay to 1:30 or 2:00. If anyone knows the policy, please advise as I'm hoping to pack everything in one small suitcase and not have to have a second bag with essentials that I cannot chance being lost (this is a 4 day cruse), but I also hate boarding and touring the ship dragging my suitcase around especially during lunch at the buffet!
