Panama Canal on the Mercury 10-1-2010

We are booked! Excited about a full transit thru the canal. Anyone else on this cruise? We signed up for the Cruise Critic Connection.

If anyone has any info or good reports about local tour guides in any of the ports, would like to hear from you.

I will not be on the Mercury. But, I have sailed on this ship three times. It's a wonderful ship. I'm sure you will have a great time.

We will be on the cruise and also look forward to going thru the canal.

Will be looking for advise for shore excursions.

Baltimore is our home port (75 miles from home) so only having one flight to deal with will be a pleasure.

This will be our first cruise with Celebrity and we have heard many good things about it. We are curious about the upgrades recently made as our friends said there were problems before the changes.
