ages for celebrity kids program

We are sailing on Celebrity Solstice on July 25 with our 5 year old. She will be 6 in Aug. The dailies we've seen has the youngest group as 3-6 year olds; the FAX section on Celebrity has the group listed as 3-5 year olds. Can anyone who has sailed Solstice recently tell me which is correct?

We were on Equinox over Easter and it was 3-5, 6-8, 9-11...

 

It may depend on how many kids are on board as to how they work it. We found the staff to be extremely professional and flexible. DD is almost 9 and they gave her the choice of which group she went in after observing her in the 6-8 group.

Fun Factory was great for GS - 6. He loved every minute. Also, be aware that they offer a VIP package at $110 per child that covers any additional charges such as after hours et al. This VIP package comes with a goodie backpack as well as a bridge and backstage tour for the VIP kids. Bridge tour will only be on a day when ship is in port so ask when they are scheduled if you are planning on tours off the ship on those days.

What ages was your GS -age 6 placed with ? Glad he loved every minute!

He was in the 6-8 year old group. He turned 7 just after the cruise. Think it was 3-5, 6-8, 9-11 and teens. All the kids got to know each other and we were on the beach in St. Kitts and heard some kids call his name. Not only were they from the cruise ship but turned out they lived 10 miles from us. Small world. GO Gators!!!!!!!!!!!!
