B602 on Golden to Alaska

We are going on the 6/04/2011 Alaskan cruise on the Golden Princess. Has anyone stayed in balcony stateroom B602 on the Baja deck? I see on the ship deck plans that there is white space across the hall from this room but am not sure what exactly this area is used for. I have read here on CruiseCritic that there are areas on the ship where there can be 'crack of dawn' noise from the ship's crew working & moving around. Any info will be appreciated.

 

The placement of the room seems perfect since it's almost midship and we are so excited about our 1st cruise!
