Crusing Carnival Conquest in Aug 2010

I'm cruising Carnival with my husband and child (8 years old) in August. Although I've been a past cruiser, it's been so long that I'm sure I've missed out on the "inside deals" they offer.

 

Does anyone have any advice on free room upgrades, or anything else I should keep an eye out for?

Keep pretending to book your same cruise for the same category, and if there are 3 in the cabin, make sure its a triple.

 

... Im still hoping myself for a last minute better deal because of the oil spill. Im booked in Sept. on Conquest.

Me too! Cruising August 15th.

 

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping that as the departure date nears, that they will drop their fares to try to fill the ship. Have to admit, if I knew the oil spill was going to happen, I probably wouldn't have booked a a cruise.

 

I'll post something if I see that the prices drop.
