A big thank you to all of you on the Seattle thread. I learned so much from reading the posts. All the information really helped make our time in Seattle very worthwhile. We arrived on 5/27 and our hotel room wasn't ready (@ the Marriott Waterfront) so we took the elevator up to the next street and walked to Pike Market. Ate lunch at Etta's. A crab salad to die for. We then ate dinner at the Space Needle. Our food was very good and the view spectacular. On Friday we took a tour of the city. Unfortunately it was a little rainy but we enjoyed all the areas we visited. After the tour we were dropped off at Pike Market again and we had lunch at the Anthenian (sp?). Very good food and another great view. On Saturday we boraded the Golden Princess for our trip to Alaska. Returned to Seattle yesterday and had beautiful blue skies and could finally see the mountains -- what a treat! For all of you that live in Seattle you have a very beautiful city and a very clean one. We really enjoyed our short time there and hope to return again.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Rain is just part of our "charm" :D. Come again soon when you can stay a little longer.
