Closest Golf Course to the port?

Has anyone played at a nice course near the port...within 20 minutes or so?

I'm not a golfer, but I get dragged to a few of the courses from time to time.

 

If you want the best and perhaps the closest to the dock (apx 15M North), you'd want The Green Monkey at Sandy Lane.

 

Second would be The Old Nine at Sandy and/or The Country Club Course there.

 

There are 2-3 down in Christ Church. Rockley Golf Club and The Barbados Golf Club are there. They are a little further away perhaps, but not too much.

 

There is a new course that rivals Sandy's Green Monkey and that is Apes Hill in St. James (Holetown). I got to tour it earlier this year and it is spectacular. The only problem is it reserved for property owners and their guests. It's near Sandy.

thank you...was thinking about Green Monkey...cost is the only reason I am still shopping around. Think I saw it was around $170...still may be where I end up

Actually, it's closer to US$275.
