Western Med on Navigator out of Civitavecchia - help please

Anyone been there/done that and could give me some help?

We're on the 4 July Western Med sailing out of Civitavecchia.

 

1) What time should we plan to get to the ship?

2) What is the schedule for formal nights/semi-formal nights?

3) Any must-see shows or activities on the ship? (We've been on

We did this cruise two years ago and I think that sail away was at 6pm. It will say on your RCI documents the latest time you can board which I believe is 1.5 hours before sail time. The port is about 1 hr to 1.5 from Rome by road depending on traffic, there is also a regular train service which takes about an hour. From there you can walk 5-10 min to the port gates and then get a port shuttle to the ship

 

There are two formal nights on board during a 7 night cruise. Don't miss the Ice show, it is amazing.

We are flying in 10 days early bc we are visiting friends in Rome and seeing the sights there before the cruise. So you are saying to leave the city about 10:30 am? To arrive about noon?
