Wine/Soda in carry on

Are you allowed to take a 12 pack of soda AND a bottle of wine per person? I wasn't sure if it was one or the other or if you could take both. Also, can it be all in one carry on? I want to put two 12 packs of soda and 2 bottles of wine in one carry on to cover both my husband and I. Do you think I'll have a problem going through security?

Thanks!

is this just WINE or can it be a bottle of RUM? We are not wine drinkers so thought maybe we could do the ol switcher roo? or is it JUST wine?

Just wine.

A girl with me coming into Belize to the ship, they looked in her bag, pulled out a bottle of wine, said, oh its just wine, its ok, and let her take it to her cabin.

Iv also brought on rum cream in Jamaica, 200 ml bottles and nothing was said about checking them. .. as long as they are the small sized bottles. Others besides me were allowed to bring on the small little bottles of liquor.
