Itinerary Question. Please Help!

I tried posting in the Dominican Republic section, but no one looks at that :mad:. We are going to La Romana in February. Never Been. Whats there to do there?! Any suggestions, would be much appreciated thanks!

We are wondering the very same thing.....nothing posted on Carnival's website for excursions either...what's the story? The CC ports section has about nothing in it either. Any help from previous cruises about what to do in La Romana would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not going to be a lot of help because I've never cruised there but we did do a land vacation in punta Cana and we did a snorkle cruise out of La Romana that was a lot of fun. They take you to Sonosta Island you have lunch and then take you to a shallow area with a lot of starfish. It was a fun day.

They haven't updated shore excursions for La Ramana. Hopefully they will soon. They used to have several posted. From what I remember, they included beach break at a resort, trip to Catalina Island, trip to Altos de Chavon (?sp) which is an artists' village and others.
