Seattle Hotel Special!! :)

For anyone departing or returning to Seattle and still in need of a hotel....I received an email tonight from the Mayflower Park that from June through September they just started running a special for a Sunday night stay. If you stay both Sunday & Monday, they are offering a buy one, get one half off.

We are already booked there for the two nights before our cruise on the Carnival Spirit. So I called and asked if I could apply this special to our stay. I didn't have high hopes since it's Labor Day weekend, so I was pleasantly surprised when they said that I could apply this special to our current reservation! Our rate for both nights is less than $100 a night and it's a great little gem of a hotel in a fabulous location!

I checked the website and called the hotel, and they said there was no such special going on.

I have an email with it that I can forward to you if you want to give me your email address! It was sent out late yesterday afternoon. In fact I went back and re-read it. You can use it with a Saturday/Sunday night stay or a Sunday/Monday night stay. Buy one night, get the second 50% off.

I am staying one night, pre cruise (Friday-Sat) at the Executive Hotel Pacific on Spring Street. It is $99/nt. They offer a $8 pp fee to the pier which is 3 1/2 miles away. The hotel is in the financial district and within walking distance to many things. No food/fridge provided which is the only drawback...it looks lovely on the website.

Good job - looks like a cute place. I love the "boutique" style hotels out there. The Mayflower Park looks to be similar...just a little closer to some of the places we wanted to be (Pike Place Market, for example). Still an excellent rate for downtown!
