Tiggs14 Posted June 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2010 Does anyone know if there are any hotels that offer free airport shuttles and cruise port shuttles. We're flying into LAX and are going to Port of Los Angeles (Disney Cruise). Trying to figure out the best/cheapest way to do this. Thanks for any help! kenish Posted June 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2010 The hotels at LAX (meaning the airport) do not have courtesy shuttles to the LA World Cruiseport (located in San Pedro about 20 miles away). The airport hotels are OK but not much in the surrounding area, especially if you don't have a rental car. The cheapest way to the port is a shared van such as Super Shuttle, Primetime, etc. I personally like Karmel Shuttle the best. A cab may be cheaper if there are 3 or more in your party but there may not be enough room for luggage. I recommend going from the airport straight to San Pedro and staying at a hotel there. Plenty of threads on this board on SP hotels and how to make Priceline bids if you're into that.

Cruisin' Chick Posted June 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Another vote for San Pedro. The area around the airport is filled with strip malls (so to speak). Just get a shuttle (like Super Shuttle) over to a hotel near the port (like the Crowne Plaza and Doubletree). They will shuttle you for free to the port on the day of your cruise.
