ab0si Posted June 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2010 It's a small town on the coast. The historical center is medieval and a pleasant place to spend a quiet day wandering. Nothing earth-shattering, though. Piran is historically Italian. After WWII many Italians moved out and Slovene's moved in. Please note that I was there quite a few years ago; I've heard it has become quite a bit more touristy, May I ask, which cruise ship stops at Piran?
