scfa99 Posted June 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2010 One thing that I will miss with the EPIC is the ability to walk all the way forward on the top deck. Since the top decks forward are the exclusive suite area its going to be odd not being able to view the ocean ahead while strolling on the deck. A bit of a nit pick but I actually loving cruising and being able to connect with the sea rather than watching it from inside. With that said I am booked for Oct and am really excited to read the initial reviews.
someonenice82 Posted June 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2010 I hoping the same will be for children and the back section of the boat. Previously on Carnival cruises you could walk all the way to the back and look out. Isnt the back section exclusive to adults?

Sorry the kiddies have to miss out, but as a non-parent I am super siked that I have an area to be away from kids. They'll just have to settle with the sides of the boat and be happy with that, or choose another ship! Heck, so much of the Epic is solely dedicated to kids, throw us adults a bone and let us have something!!!!!! But you could always just walk to the top sundeck and look towards the back. Your kid might see some boobies, but oh well!!!!

Looks like, according to photos, that on decks 9,10,11 & 12 there is a forward deck overlooking the bow. It seems there is access at the forward end of each hallway. May not be the top, but as tall as EPIC is, it may be comparable to other ships. ~Intrepid <--feeling the wind in my hair.
