tapdancemom Posted June 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2010 I've been reading several Disney Cruise threads and people talk about Fish Extenders. What are they?
Justjayce Posted June 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2010 Fish extenders are hung by the fish clip on the outside door. They have pockets in them so your friends can leave you notes or other goodies. barbara1933 Posted June 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2010 Hey, are the door magnetic? What does the fish extender hang on? Do you use a clip at the top or something like a coat hanger? Leaving Aug. 7th out of Barcelona with 2 grand children 7 and 9 yrs. old. Of course their parents are along. We are the grand parenets( 76 &79) third cruise with these two grandchildren. South America in 2004, Baltic in 2006. Would like to make a fishextender for them. Barbara
williamson_ja Posted June 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2010 Usually there is a group of cruisers that decides that they are going to give each other gifts in the FE. When you come back to your room each night, there will be little surprises left by other cruisers for you to enjoy. You then pay them back by putting little gifts in their FE. If there is a MEETS thread for your cruise, you might want to check and see if anyone is organizing an FE exchange. We're going to be participating in one on our upcoming cruise. barbara1933 Posted June 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 25, 2010 Thank you, I did not find a Roll call for the August 7th cruise out of Barcelona. Was hoping someone on that cruise would set up a "meet and greet". When we sailed on NCL last Nov, there were correspondence( on cruise critid) for many months before we sailed with other cruisers. We planned three private tours this way. All were very satisfactory; about 1/2 the ship's price with approx. 12 in each. Will make a FE just for the two grandchildren's door; can leave notes and presents that way. Barbara
