Earlier in this thread someone asked how fast the Epic would need to go to make NYC in time. This is my calculation:

 

Each 1 knot is equal to 1 nautical mile per hour

Per Google there are 2967 nautical miles between Southampton and NYC

The cruise is about 7.5 days which is 180 hours

 

So I get an average speed of 16.5 knots (2967 / 180) for the Epic to make NYC the morning of July 1.

 

Of course this delay is not helping the average. ;)

There are no webcams right at the port you have to use the marine traffic website.

The first camera view takes forever for her to show up... about 10 minutes after she's gone PAST the camera does she show up. :cool:
