Roxy30 Posted June 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2010 Has anyone ever done this? I am looking to book this for 5 of us but am afraid we will not have time to do both. We are only in Nassau from 7 am - 5pm. Carnival does not tell you what time the excursion begins, but from looking at Atlantis' website, it looks like the earliest swim time is 9am. It is about 2.5 hours long. So will 11:30 to 4pm be enough time for the water park? I want to leave us an hour to get back to the ship. Is that even enough time?? Thanks. bhanback Posted July 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2010 I don't think you will have enough time to do the water park. I have not done the dolphin swim there but the place is huge and it takes awhile to walk anywhere. There is a charge for a day pass to do Aquaventure and they don't always have the day passes. Were you thinking of doing the dolphin swim and Aquaventure for five of you through the cruise? That could get really pricey.......You may want to do your swim then just walk around and look at everything, get some lunch, or passes for the "Dig". We'll be returning in October......I hope you have a great time!
NJ04SS Posted July 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2010 I did this last April. You do NOT have enough time to do both, or at least I didn't. The Dolphin Encounter , was, I mean incredible. There are no words to explain it....I did it with my girlfriend, because it was her dream ; and to see the look on her face, made it all worth while! Yet you want to take your time, they take photo's of you with the Dolphin ; and yea, I know pictures - BUT they are worth it, great shots - and for the price, its worth it to me. I look it at as, I'll only do this once! But no, you wont have enough time IMO.
