Anyone been to Tiki Beach in Grand Cayman? Would you recomend it? How much is a cab from the ship? Any menus out there from the restaraunt?TIA:)

Wondering the same thing here. We leave this Sunday and wanted to check out Tiki as well. Hopefully someone will respond soon.

Nevermind, I found some info on it. It is on the north end of 7MB. Looks interesting, I may check it out when vacationing there in a couple of weeks!

Its a new name for the Marriott Courtyard beach club. They rehab the facility, here are some older pics. If you do not like it, SeaGrape Beach is just a few hundred yards down the beach.

Are you sure? I was under the impression that it's the new facility owned by the same folks that used to own the Beach Club Colony, which has been torn down to put up more condos... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1184808

 

I still haven't had time to stop in and check the place out, but it looks nice from a drive-by...

Tiki Beach is definitely new construction. It is immediately adjacent to the old Marriot by Courtyard beach site.

 

The Gecko Bar (old Courtyard by Marriott beach facility) has fallen into disrepair and is a bit of a blight.

Was just there last week on the Solstice-The beach was very nice and a highlight of the trip
