Deno1 Posted June 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2010 First time on Princess - long time cruiser. Would it be better to book 1 Premium/Vista Suite or 2 Balcony's that connect for 3 adults? 2 Balcony's would actually cost less - but of course the rooms are smaller. We like to see the ocean easier from the cabin. However I do not want people to be able to look into our balcony from above. Are all balcony's on Diamond Princess like this or are some covered? We normally book a GS with RCCL. But love the itinerary for Asia on the Diamond. Thanks for any advice!;)
Toto2Kansas Posted June 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2010 Keep in mind, with balcony cabins, you will not receive the suite perks as you would with a full suite. The list for full suites can be found here: http://www.princess.com/news/article.jsp?newsArticleId=na828&submit=pk Also add to that list Sabatinis breakfast strictly for full suite passengers only. The items listed there are not given to balcony cabins. So, it depends on if the perks of a full suite are important to you. Princess balcony cabins are more or less a bedroom only with no actual sitting area (no sofa or love seat and only one upholstered chair), and they are quite compact. Rare horseymike Posted June 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2010 I would prefer the two cabins for comfort reasons, 2 bathrooms ect.. The suite perks are nice but so is the extra room provided by the two cabins. Have a great cruise!:D
