Port Questions: Aug 19 - Embarkation in Amsterdam

Hello,

I hope this is the right location to ask this question.

 

I will be sailing on Eurodam, 19 August, 2010 - Transatlantic- and noticed that there is a "Tall Ship Sail-Away" festival taking place at that time in Amsterdam. (Forgot the name of the festival, but apparently there will be hundreds of ships)

 

I understand that the passenger terminal in Amsterdam will be used to dock many of the tall ships.

 

Has HAL determined where Eurodam will dock for embarkation?

 

I will be in Amsterdam 3 days prior to sailing, and will be staying at a boutique hotel on a canal. Do you have suggestions for transfer? I assume I could have the hotel reserve a taxi, but wondered if HAL had other suggestions due to the festival.

Hi Holy, Check the roll-call for the Eurodam cruise, someone posted information there. I think it'll be the Westerdok. My guess is to take a taxi because it's far out of the centre with no public transportation.
