CRU1Z1N Posted June 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2010 Is the cash taken at check in or do we have to put a charge card on file and then switch to cash at the purser's desk after we get on board? Thanks!!
jamaica bride Posted June 24, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2010 Is the cash taken at check in or do we have to put a charge card on file and then switch to cash at the purser's desk after we get on board? Thanks!! Form of payment is taken once you're aboard the ship at guest services. My sister in law was able to use her card with no money on it and paid the balance at the end of the trip. lillian marie Posted June 24, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2010 Usually they want you to guantee the s & s card with cash or a credit card. Your auto tips ($10 a day) will be charged to your account unless you prepay them. Have a great cruise.
StrangeBrew Posted June 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2010 We always use cash once we arrive onboard , we normally set aside 140 for the auto tips , if its a 7 day cruise , and put about 600 xtra on the account for anything we may purchase . On the last day of the cruise , that night we close the account and they refund any money not used . Works well for us that way . Maybe it will for you guys as well .
