NCL Refund of Deposit for Cancellation

Does anyone know how many days it should take for my deposit refund from NCL to show up on my credit card?

 

I cancelled my cruise on Monday morning and today is Thursday and my AmEx still does not show the refund? Is this normal?

I have had it take up to 10-14 days or so in the past.

Usually they tell you it could take up to 2 billing cycles but I have never waited more than 2 weeks.

Thanks...you know it is funny how when you book a cruise it does not take long for them to charge your account...

I'm looking at booking a cruise for next June. The NCL agent told me that the deposit is refundable anytime prior to the final payment being due. I couldn't find that on their website. Is he telling the truth???

Yes, unless you book one of the upper level suites like the Garden Villa. Some of those deposits are non-refundable...ever.
