Jamnuts Posted June 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2010 I booked a cruise last night and she asked if I would like to purchase the insurance for the trip, ( I think cancellation insurance) it would be $119.00 for each person. Is this something that I should do?

Many people have had good luck with CCL's insurance, depending on their circumstances, ages, etc. However, most (but not all) who take the time to check coverage from third-parties seem to find better coverage at less cost. Popular places to check are: http://www.itravelinsured.com http://www.squaremouth.com http://www.travelinsurancecenter.com http://www.tripinsurancestore.com and there are others. chaching Posted June 27, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2010 It is always good to check at some of the online agencies. The coverage is the same but costs about 1/2 of what the cruise line will charge you. Continue to investigate until you seem satisfied and then make sure to buy it!
