Arrival time - NYC

What time should I show up at the NYC pier. We are leaving NYC on the Dawn and for the life of me I can't remember what time I showed up last time (and there was a huge line already). What time is best to arrive at the pier so I dont have to wait to long on long lines?

 

Is there a special line for latitudes or mini suit holders?

There is a special line for Latitudes. We just sailed on the Dawn, and we arrived at the pier around 11:45. We were checked in and on the ship by 12:15. We got shuttled to the Latitudes line and got number 4 for boarding. I am jealous....I want to go back! It was a great cruise and Bermuda was beautiful.......have a great time!!!!!:):)

In 2006 we arrived at 12:15, checked in and boarded at 1:15. Had a snack in the Garden Café and were in our cabin at 1:40. Yes, there were a couple of check-in stations for Latitude Members, but many more counters for 'regular' passengers. They seemed to move just as fast as we did.
