Third person cost ?

With most lines, it's going to vary depending on the sail date, the itinerary and the cabin class. The only way to get accurate information regarding this is to either do a sample booking or have your travel agent look at the particular sailing/cabin that you're looking at. It can be as little as 1/3 of the first/second price, but during popular times (spring break, summer vacation), it can be MORE than the first/second passenger.

The price depends on the age of the third person, the cruise line, the itinerary and maybe a few other things. Some lines only charge port taxes depending on the age of the third person, some will charge a small amount and other lines will charge the full per person fare.

Just depends... We have cruised Carnival, Princess & HAL-- and thus far age has never mattered-- probably has just been the promotions or rates that we happened to get

Sometimes the 3rd-4th (or 5th) passenger can be free & as above posters have noted some lines vary by age, and can also be more than 1st & 2nd

Few more examples: HAL cruise this fall-- 2 cabins 1st/2nd $900 cabin #1 & $1700 cabin #2-- 3rd & 4th passengers in both cabins-- free (port taxes only)

Disney cruise next year-- booked family suite 3rd/4th/5th passenger free

in the past-- booked last minute Alaska deal $299 1st & 2nd passenger at that time we were a family of 3-- 3rd passenger was going to be $599-- we decided to book 2 cabins-- I think it ended up being cheaper since at that time single occupancy was less than $599-- both cabins were upgraded from lowest inside category to top oceanview cabin category-- used 2nd cabin to store luggage & carseat--

sometimes 3rd passenger price varies by category-- ie inside might be $399 for 3rd pass & in a balcony category might be $1099 for 3rd-- pass-- lots of variables-- you just have to price out the cruises you are interested in
