califgary Posted June 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Is there a general rule of thumb as to when HAL opens Land tours for a given cruise? Any info appreciated! thanks
Mary Ellen Posted June 28, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Are you asking about shore ex when in port, pre-/post-cruise tours (like to Iguassu Falls, the Alaskan cruise tours?? Not sure what you're asking.
califgary Posted June 28, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Hi: The tours that are offerred during the cruise itself at each port stop. However I also want to do pre-cruise and post-cruise hotels in Seattle so knowing when that is open will help too! thank you
Mary Ellen Posted June 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 28, 2010 OK, you're asking about the shore excursions. Those vary and don't all appear at the same time, some ports will show up before others. We have a cruise booked for next March. Some ports have had excursions available for a few months now. On other cruises, shore ex have shown up as close as a month or two prior to sailing. As to Seattle hotels, your TA should be able have the HAL hotel added to your reservation. You'll probably do better booking either on your own or have your TA do this them self, rather than going through HAL.
