WillieD13 Posted June 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2010 I have read in multiple places that one can rent a sunfish sailboat while at Half Moon Cay. I grew up with one, and love them. I have not however, seen Carnival even mention them, and the articles I read I found through Google, and were all from 2006 or earlier. I am wondering if 1) they are still there, 2) what the rental cost is and for how long (hourly, half day, whole day), and 3) where does one reserve one, if they are reservable, or are they first come, first serve? upperarlington Posted July 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2010 I am a big sailor as well growing up on Lake Erie and I saw on a thread about HMC someone posted a price sign by Carnival on the thread. Sunfish are 39/hour and Hobies are 49/hour. On Disney's island a few years ago my son and I did the Hobies and it was great. It is first come first serve no reserving them. You put it on sign/sail card.
