From the start of the Euro Med 2011 season, Cunard Line will only accept the following methods of onboard payment: Credit/Debit Cards: Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diners Club. Visa Delta/Debit. Not accepted: Solo, Maestro, Switch, Visa Electron or any Pre Paid Credit Cards. Cash: Guests will need to keep their account in credit at all times Travellers cheques or personal cheques will no longer be accepted. Plus Travellers cheques can no longer be used as payment towards on board accounts or buying foreign currency on board. Also remember they charge (currency exchange) for the cards they accept. Have the rates gone up for those form of payments now being dropped? Dropping travellers cheques seems abit odd though other organizations I know have dropped them.
