Rare crewsweeper Posted June 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2010 We are sailing on the Dream in just a few weeks. What is the best way to carry onboard 2 bottles of wine and our legal limit of Diet Mt Dew;) Bring your DMD in a small carryon roller. Carry it on with you.Pack around it a change of togs for both you and your missus, your kit and your DW's makeup bag, just in case luggage is delyed. Likewise your wine...get one of those $1 canvas wine carriers at Publix (there's one just down the A1A from the pier) or your local store. Wrap a sheet of bubble wrap around each bottle and carry those on with you. DO NOT pack either wine or DMD in your checked baggage!
Shelbyjane56 Posted June 30, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 30, 2010 ...a backpack... We do a carry on (2 of them) with wheels, much better than having to lug around a backpack or a carryon with no wheels!
Cristallo Posted June 30, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2010 I have one of those luggage carts. I plan to just strap the cans and water to it and bring it aboard. Got if for like $13 at Walmart.
