Just back from this. Trip spoiled a bit for us by the extreme heat (40 degrees at times)- big shock for people from Scotland! The ship is v nice. We didnt go on most of the walking tours as too hot & too much time spent standing around or walking v slowly. However it was always fine to go off on our own to explore or find a quiet terrace/street bar for a quiet beer or coffee and just take in the atmosphere & people watch.

It was always worth trying out my schoolgirl French & the people were very friendly & helpful.
