On our 12 nighter, we had 12 different menues.

 

Entertainment was also different each night. There were only 2 dress up nights.

On the 14 night Panama Canal cruise, it was different each night. Two elegant evenings and different entertainment.

 

I'm actually looking forward to the B2B I'm doing next year. In that case, we will get repeated menus because they are separate cruises, so when I can't decide what to get one week, I'll just be able to have it the next week. :D

Had lunch with the maternal unit today and was talking about the cruise and as i did mention that i would take her to Hawaii she has thrown her hat in for the cruise too (I had promised i would take her to Hawaii as i"m taking my BFF to NYC/Boston/Maine/Halifax/Saint John this year). So please add the merry widow Ritva to the roll call :p

If you want to be part of the "official" group and get the group's amenities and pricing, you will have to book through the Cruisecritic TA. Of course, you can book through any TA, you just won't be entitled to our group's amenities.

Can someone tell me how close San Deigo is to Disneyland and universal Studio. Would like to make a pit stop !!!!

Hey Charleyann,

 

I spent a week in San Diego with my DD and DS at the time ages 14 & 18.

We had a blast! They still talk about Legoland which is in Carlsbad.

All were within a mile of each other and a short (40 minute) easy drive from San Diego. THEY ALL WERE AMAZING! :D

 

You can also take the Amtrak from San Diego and Anaheim for about $40 round trip and not deal with the traffic issues.

It's about a two hour ride.

We did almost everything the week we were there!
