I hope you all can pull a group together. We booked this cruise right when I saw it. I would be great to meet everyone that is interested though.

WE ARE OFFICIAL!!

 

She is going to contact the CC TA for pricing, but that person is away until July 13th, and Laura isn't sure who is handling the group cruises right now. So, we may have to wait a bit for pricing, but the good news is we have approval for the group. :D As soon as I hear back about pricing, I'll let you all know.

 

In the meantime, we need to confirm our group's name. Here are some of the suggestions:

Spirited Away

Mahalo Madness (Hawaiian word for being thankful or grateful)

Moana Hui (Hawaiian for sea gathering. Moana means sea or ocean and Hui means group or organization)

Spirited Malihinis

Moana Malihinis (Moana means sea and Malihini means visitor or newcomer)

Thanks, Lindsay. Once we get the name sorted out, I'll open a new "official" thread for chatting. We'll also get our own sub-forum in the Member Cruise section where I'll start threads for all sorts of topics so that as we chat on the roll call, we don't lose important info.

I was on the Carnival Pride when she repositioned from LA to the East Coast and the longer cruises do attract an older crowd for sure. Now, I should probably qualify that by saying I'm 61, so I'm likely considered part of the "older crowd" by some. :D

 

After doing a 14 day cruise, though, it's tough to go back to just the 7 day cruises. That's one of the reasons our group from the Pride decided to do a B2B cruise on the Miracle as a reunion cruise. We ended up with 16 days (2 eight days) and I can't wait.

 

Come on, Pete....you know you want to join us. You did say you have to wait a couple of years and this cruise is a couple of years away (or almost anyway). :D

Even though this cruise is a long way off, I think I'll start a weekly countdown tomorrow. I love watching the number of weeks dwindle. :D

 

And if anyone has any suggestions for group activities on board, please let me know. Here are some activities to consider:
