OCruisers Posted February 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2005 Mini-Review & Directions: SENIOR FROGS Senior Frogs is a party bar ... "Carlos'nCharlies" type of place ... but not nearly as lively as the C'nC in Cozumel in the early evening. When we were there from 6:30PM to 8PM, more folks were there to eat than to party. Feel sure it became lots more active later! :D Still, it was fun! Great drinks, music, cheerful bar staff -- a totally HAPPY place to be! :) DIRECTIONS: Less than a 5 minute walk for cruisers docked at one of the town piers -- located on Comercio St., directly behind the Sheraton (which use to be the Wyndham). A quick, easy, and fun place for cruisers who enjoy party bars! :D Happy Sailing! OCruisers :)
MrsKnuts2 Posted February 25, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2005 Thank you! Unfortunately, we'll be there from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Originally scheduled to go to Tortola. At least I'll be able to get a new t-shirt. :)

OCruisers Posted May 11, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted May 11, 2005 Ooops! Forgot your main question. Yes, they serve food (per above) and people did have children in the dining area. Teens really love going there! :p
AZPam Posted June 5, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 5, 2005 Do you know what the drinking age in San Juan is? Same as the US I would assume, but do the enforce it as much? We have a son who will be about 2 weeks shy of 21 when we travel there for a cruise in March 2006. I am sure he would want to know! Pam
OCruisers Posted June 26, 2005 Author #7 Share Posted June 26, 2005 Pam .... As you mentioned, US laws would apply in San Juan! As you also mentioned :p .... they were NOT enforced as much! Lots of very young college kids who were drinking whatever they wished! :)

Creole Girl Posted July 10, 2005 #10 Share Posted July 10, 2005 Drinking age in Puerto Rico is 18. Don't ask me why since it is territory of the US. I read this info on the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau site. I also checked several other sites and indeed it is 18. http://www.meetpuertorico.com/about_pr/puerto_rico_tid_bits.asp

OCruisers Posted September 20, 2005 Author #13 Share Posted September 20, 2005 Did "Senor" Frog join AARP :)??? :D Sorry, had to wait to respond until we were on our "home" computer! Our very very very old laptop we post from on business trips has a mind of its own -- does a "spelling auto-correct" sometimes .... (unfortunately, it very often corrects spelling we do NOT want corrected ... and, often fails to correct when we do wish it had ....) :o Guess most understand the "typo". Maybe, our old laptop wants it to be "Senior" Frogs (a part of AARP) so it can go and HAVE FUN! :p Happy Sailing! OCruisers :)
