Ferry to Buck Island

Hi, we are cruising to St Croix in September with my in-laws. My FIL really wants to go out to Buck Island and said that he saw that there is a ferry boat that is located right beside the pier that will take you out to the island. I can't find any evidence of this ferry, schedule or fees. Does anyone know about this?

So sorry, and I don't wish to contradict your estemmed FIL. Sadly, this doesn't exist.

 

A boat trip from the Frederiksted pier to Buck Island would be a looooong journey through very rough waters- not even for the strongest of heart and stomach.

 

You must journey to Christiansted , a 45 minute jaunt, to enjoy a trip to Buck Island, I promise you will be much less green at the gills if you follow this path!
