Vision vs Radiance Class

We'd love to cruise right out of our home port of Tampa but would prefer to try the Radiance class over the Vision class. Wondering what people's thoughts are on the Legend of the Seas (sailing out of Tampa later this year) compared to the Radiance Class. Will we be disappointed if we cruise on Legend out of Tampa instead of driving down to FLL and cruising on the Jewel?

Thanks,

Having been on the Rhapsody and the Brilliance, I can say that the Radiance-class is a definite upgrade. My Florida geography isn't that great, but a drive to FLL from Tampa would seem to be worth it. At least you don't have fly like the rest of us...:D

I really like the Vision Class ships. BUT I love the Radiance Class.

Worth it to go to Ft Lauderdale, but with where you live why not do the Vision class and later do the Jewel? Dec 11 has a pretty inexpensive sailing with and interesting itinery.

Feeling kind of sheepish over dragging our feet about the drive to FLL (we're guessing it's about a 3-4 hour drive) especially since we're originally from California and know what those flights are like. :)

Thanks for the input.

Tonight we just booked the Legend for Apr 06.........................it was a toss up between the Jewel(Ft Lauderdale) and this one.....................like the idea of one more sea day and a closer drive,,,,,,,,,,,

BTW--we have been on both classes and really enjoyed the Vision class.............we did the Enchantment and the Serenade...

Which dates are you looking at??
