cutiediva Posted July 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2010 we are sailing on the New Years Eve cruise on the Miracle. My husband has booked a shore excursion for St. Kitts. This tour leaves at 12:30pm and return at 3:30. The Miracle is scheduled to leave at 4:pm. The excursion was booked through Carnival. Will he be ok in getting back to the ship on time? Thanks
Fergus Posted July 8, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Yes, if it's booked thru the ship you're in good shape - they won't depart until ship-booked excursions have returned.
chachi Posted July 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Carnival would not offer an excursion that wouldn't be back in time. If something should happen though, they will wait for you. It is one of the benefits of booking with Carnival.
LornaT Posted July 8, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Carnival will keep in touch with the tour company and the busses/tour guides themselves to verify return to the ship ........ and if running late the ship will wait. In Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa our bus was caught in traffic and the tour guide was on her cellphone with the pier letting them know every few minutes where we were in relation to the pier and Carnival held a Tender for us because it was a Carnival sold/sponsered tour. Which one are you doing? Roll call has been very quiet lately.
