Lowest deck you have been on

We have had cabins both inside and balcony thru out the ship, everything but the suites....and think all are abot the same. to me it dosen't matter as long as I'm cruising!....if you can save money, do it...you have more fun that way!

I had been told by someone who had the lowest deck years ago that they actually heard engine noise--i assume thats not the case anymore??

 

On Conquest Class ships I've heard "engine noises" in JUST the last 3 or 4 cabins. (Aft) Other than that, NOPE, never heard any machinery noise while underway at all. In the first few cabins you might hear the sea hitting the hull when underway. Normally that isn't bad at all, and actually lots of folks find it soothing. I always try to avoid the first 6 and the last 6 cabins on the lower decks.
