I don't have one with the bed made up but here is where it is during the day.

Thank you so much! How does it come down from the ceiling? Also, does it go all the way to the floor? Sorry if these are silly questions but we've never had a room with a 4th bed/upper bed.

The hinges are on the right. It folks down so the part you see is vertical. At that point the bed flips out of the frame to the left and hangs about 4-5 feet from the ceiling over the couch. There's a picture around on these boards somewhere. Try the search function. There have been a couple of threads on this question.
