CruisingDoctorWu Posted July 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Hey, does anyone know if Seabourn has any policies re: visitors? My sister, her baby and her husband will be in the South of France and would love to visit us (6 of us on the Legend) one day. I was thinking a port where we were docked was probably the best option; but didn't know if there was a formal policy and/or fees if they wanted to visit (or have lunch). johnnycruise Posted July 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2010 A couple had two of their friends join them on the ship for the afternoon (including lunch) while docked in Marseille, so it can be done. I would meet with the hotel manager as soon as you board.
Martita B. Posted July 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Another suggestion is to call the Miami Office before you leave and inquire. I know sometimes passport copies of visiting guests need to be checked and "okeyed" ~ (security policy) Cheers:p Martita B.
LaPaloma Posted July 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2010 I agree..we had to give their passport #s..and all info on them prior to having our guests on SS. It was a lovely day..and they enjoyed coming aboard. Have never done it on SB. We did it prior to sailing. We met our friends on shore...and came back to the ship with them as we had the papers. MARIANH Posted July 12, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Thanks! Anyone know if there is a fee? Chris Perhaps if they do not leave the ship before she sails!:)
LaPaloma Posted July 12, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Thanks! Anyone know if there is a fee? Chris We did pay on SS...I believe it was $50 per person...for lunch..I would assume that SB is similar.
Miss Jet Set Posted July 14, 2010 #8 Share Posted July 14, 2010 We did not have to pay anything and our guest had lunch on board with us that was in the South of France, yes they will require passport details in advance. Have a great cruise.
