anyone hear anything else on the Valor change in itinerary?

someone mentioned a few weeks ago that their Valor itinerary had a last minute change, stopping in St. Thomas first, to avoid customs hassles that I guess are common. The OP also said that Carnival was going to do a few more "trial runs" of the new itinerary before making the change permanent. Has anyone heard any more on this? anyone off Valor E. Caribbean within the past few weeks?
