Different keys for spa suite and courtyard

If you are staying in a spa suite you get the 24 hour access with your key to that location but if you have suite privileges do they also give you another key to get to the courtyard which would mean you carry two keys at all times. Thanks.:p

Folks staying in the courtyard level use their card keys to access that deck on the elevator. Your card key must be inserted before the elevator will take you to that level. Once on the courtyard decks (216, 17 and 18 on Epic), you don't need to use your key again, except to get into your suite.

 

I have no idea if folks in spa suites also have access to the courtyard, but if they do, I am sure the access will be by the same method, inserting the card when you get in the elevator.

No your one card is programed for all access. As far as what was posted above you don't need it for the elevator but rather to enter any area of the courtyard after you exit the elevator.

Does anyone have an image of a key card from the Epic? Just wondering if they have changed the look from the Gem/Pearl class ships.

 

Is there a color code as well? Based on room category?

Yes, platinum for suites & above.

 

Not sure about other levels....keys seemed pretty standard....nothing specifically memorable.
