I have an 8c cabin booked on the dream. what is the difference in the b, c, d's etc. i know 8j was extended balcony but what the heck are the difference? i have an 8c balcony. what would be the upgrade from that in the 8 category and what is the difference? thanks for your indulgence.:) the dream on 10-16-2010

The first #4, inside cabin; #6 ocean view; #8, balcony, etc. A generally means on a supposedly less desirable location on the ship (a matter of opinion); B = a supposed better location; C even better. etc . Carnival has recently revamped all their cabin categories which makes it more difficult to identify them all, but a good site to go to for info would be cruisedeckplans.com
