Hi - anyone ever been in this cabin or nearby? Will there be an obstructed view? Just want to be able to see out, without looking right into a lifeboat. Thanks.

Is it booked? If so, fine cabin. You will see out just great.

 

However, Deck 7 'thin' section of the ship for Radiance class is not my favorite. You will have a view of the lifeboats directly below you, obstructing your view 'a little' to the water line. Also there is a white 'strip' at your feet that many complain about it reflecting the sun right back at you when standing at the rail.

 

7014-7046 gets you to the 'thicker' section of the ship and you will have a more clean line of sight to the water line.

 

If memory serves, also the deck 7 balconies jut out abit more than others. Mean your balcony (same size) is slightly less private from those watching you from above.

 

Serenade is a great ship though, I think maybe my favorite.

Thanks for the info - yes, it is booked, but when it comes down to it, I would sleep in a lifeboat just to be on a cruise!!

The lifeboat is BELOW your balcony...not in front of it. You will not have any obstruction looking out to sea.

Thanks again - that's the important thing, to be able to just see out to the ocean - no reason to look down when the sun, moon and sky are up!!
