mikayla73 Posted July 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2010 We want to eat at the GF the night of my husbands birthday, which happens to be the first night of our cruise on the Legend. We made our reservation, but the email we got back from CCL basically said they noted it but couldn't confirm our reservation for the first night of the cruise and we'd have to check on it once we got on board. I understand why they might do this (maybe the previous cruise is extended because of weather or we miss the ship  or any other weird thing that could happen), but has anyone done this Do we just make a reservation once we get on board, assuming that it's still available? Where do we go to make them? I have never made one once I was on the ship so I never paid attention to where you had to go to do it. Will it be a hassle and maybe we should just go the next night? jessemon Posted July 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2010 After boarding and having a cold beer I always go up the the Steakhouse to confirm reservations no matter when it is during the week.....
ATLCruiseJunkie Posted July 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2010 Also, I believe during embarkation they'll have a station set up somewhere in the atrium area or up near the MDR advertising the steak house. You could check in with them there, or just call them from your cabin once you get in.

I believe the issue is they need a minimum number of guests to open the steak house on the first evening, so they cant confirm it.

OIC that makes sense too. I hadn't thought about no one else doing that night. I guess I'll just check it out when we get on the ship and change it if we need to (and can). Thanks everyone!
