We are leaving next week on the Victory and were wondering if Paradise Beach

is in walking distance to where the ship will be docked.

We have children and might want to go back to the ship for a break from the

sun in the afternoon.

Also, should we book this on the ship or get off and make our own arrangements?

You'll need to take a cab. Once you get off the ship, proceed to the street and there are plenty of cabs to take you. It'll take about 10 minutes by cab. And there are always cabs waiting to take you back to the ship as well. It is a set amount to and from the pier. But ask just to make sure so you know what it is. Should be about 12 bucks. Hope this helps!

It's according to at which pier you will dock. Carnival owns the Puerta Maya Pier, so that's where they usually dock; however, if you happen to dock at the downtown pier, it'll be a further taxi ride to PB, and will probably be more.

It's $12 per cab (holds up to 4ppl) from Puerta Maya Pier to PB. There's NO way you could walk to a beach!

Hi! We were on the Elation for March, 2004 and just returned from the same ship Sunday (2/06/05). Both times, even though we were on the same ship, we were at different piers. This time, it was the Punta Lagcosta (sp?). Last time, it was the International Pier.

Both times, it was about $13 each way to Paradise Beach. DO NOT go thru the ship's shore excursions for this beach...MUCH cheaper on your own, for the same thing! :)

Have Fun!!!
