Corsica -- possible to visit Melo and Capitello Lakes?

Does anyone have advice on whether it's possible to visit the lakes during an 8am to 4pm port call in Ajaccio on a Saturday?

 

It looks like there is bus and train service, but looks like tehre are two departures in each direction daily, and nothing would get back in time. We'd need to get to Corte, then hike, then return... anyone done it?
