Zuiderdam Review (long) - Alaska Inside Passage - July 17 - 24

Hi -- first HAL cruise scheduled for August 20th on the Zuiderdam. Thanks so much for your review.

 

Question though -- what's the master chef's dinner? Would that be a good night to go to Pinnacle Grill?

The Master Chef's Dinner was the last night of the cruise. The staff put on a 'show' with some singing and dancing and parading around the dining room. We put on our 'hats' and enjoyed the show. It was our first Master Chef's dinner. I think that the next time, I would go to the Pinnacle Grill instead. Not that the MC dinner was bad but after experiencing it once, it was enough for me. We did enjoy two of our dinners at the Pinnacle, we had excellent service and food both times.

Thanks for resurrecting this old thread, i missed it the first time. We have never sailed on the Zuiderdam or to Alaska but this review makes me want to do both.
