Can I change cabin type after final payment?

Probably a dumb question that can be answered by a RCL representative but I can't really get on the phone right now and am considering a hypothetical situation :)

 

And if I downgrade to a cheaper cabin the difference would be given as OBC? when is the very latest I can do this?

Yes, you can change cabin types after final payment. And yes, the difference would be credited to you (if you downgrade) in the form of an onboard credit. Not sure on how late you could do it but I'm guessing it would need to be done at least three days prior to sailing, as that is their cut-off time for online check-in. It may even be earlier than that.
